*General Description:**	The Beechworth Base Camp is a combination of powered and unpowered sites and cabins. The base camp will be at the Beechworth Lake Sambell Caravan Park which is a lovely park on the shores of Lake Sambell, Beechworth. This has proved to be a very popular event over the last 4 years and no doubt the sites will fill quickly again. There are 28 powered sites, 8 unpowered sites and 5 cabins available. Beechworth is arguably one of the best preserved gold mining towns in Aust. We shall be exploring the history of the region as well as the 4WD tracks around the northern reaches of the Alpine National Park and Mt Stanley. We will be having a self catered long table dinner on the Sunday night. Cost of a powered site for 2 adults - $63 per night. Unpowered sites for 2 adults- $54 per night Children under 16 are $10.00 each per night and extra adults are $20.00 each per night. The site rates include a 10% discount for our Club. There are 5 Standard ensuite cabins available and rates vary depending on type of cabin selected. The option is available to arrive on Thurs Jan 22nd and depart on Tues Jan 27th. Once your registration is confirmed I will give you the details of finalising your site booking with Lake Sambell Caravan Park who will require an initial 1 night's deposit. At this stage there is no need to contact the park.
