Our Club was established in 1963 to enable Land Rover enthusiasts to meet and further enjoy their unique vehicles.

Why become a Member ?

  • 4WD training - The Club runs its own Driver training programs for beginners and intermediate levels,(via our Four Wheel Drive Victoria accredited Club instructors)
  • Join in the many 4WD trips run by Members during the year to local and interstate destinations.
  • Attend the social events and functions organised by the Club, to enable Land Rover enthusiasts to get together and discuss their vehicles.
  • Get access to a wealth of knowledge from the Member community.
  • Receive bi-monthly copies of our Club magazine "Review" containing interesting articles about 4 Wheel driving.
  • Participate in the Club Permit Scheme.
  • Be covered by Our Insurance while participating in any of the many Club approved activities.

Any person who is the owner and driver of a Land Rover Marque vehicle or a vehicle equipped with four wheel drive dual range capacity, is qualified to become a Member of the Club.

You can Join the Club as a Single member (one person) or Joint member. You can have a Joint Membership with one other person who is either a spouse, partner living at your address or an immediate dependent family member living at your home, under the age of 26.

*NB:-  Joint members must reside at the same residential address to be covered by 4WD Vic Insurance.*

If you are intending to place a Vehicle on the Club Permit Scheme (CPS) then you must read the relevant information about the Club Permit Scheme and contact the Club’s Club Permit Registrar, before you apply for a Club Permit. There are certain Policies and Procedures in place which you will need to adhere to, to obtain a Club Permit for a vehicle.

The Club membership year starts on the 1st  July each year.  Pro-rata fees are calculated by the system and applied on a monthly basis to reduce the membership fee for those joining during the membership year.  The membership Fee includes the once off joining fee, shown above and the Four Wheel Drive Victoria Affiliation fee.

Membership Application Process

  1. Fill in and submit the on-line application form including confirmation that you agree to abide by the Club Rules and Policies and Procedures.  These can be found here => Club Rules, Policies and Procedures
  2. Pay your joining fee using the Stripe payment gateway that has been integrated into our website**.
  3. Once payment is made, you will receive an email with confirmation of payment and a welcome email with instructions on how to access use the member area of the website.
  4. New members are invited to come along to a Club meeting to receive their membership pack and be introduced to the Club members.  Club meets first Thursday of each month, except January.  Upcoming meeting details are on the home page of the website. (If it is not possible for you to attend a meeting,  your membership pack will be posted to you)
  5. Once you join the Club, the first 3 months of your membership is probationary . During this period it is expected that you will involve yourself in some of the Clubs activities so that you can get to know the Club and its members and they you. 

** We are a volunteer organisation and it would help us greatly if you registered and paid online using the Credit Card Facility.

Refund Policy - Land Rover Owners Club of Victoria Inc.

Joining fee and Membership fees are non refundable, however....

  • Refunds will be issued if a member has overpaid their Membership fee and/or Joining fees.
  • Refunds will also be made if a new application is not approved by the Club.
  • Refund payments will be made by crediting the original credit card account.
  • Refunds will be paid within fourteen (14) days from date of request.
