Trip leader course online - IT IS NOT scary!

Taking the mystery out of being a trip leader!

It's actually not that hard and the club needs more members to lead more trips as many are getting fully subscribed and people are missing out. It is a club policy that a convoy has no more than 10 vehicles including the trip leader so even if a base camp like Anzac weekend has 40 vehicles, we need a minimum of 4 trip leaders but better if we have 6.

This session will be online via Microsoft teams for about 2 hours and will cover the basics as to the little bit of admin required but much more the exciting aspects of putting a trip together, posting it up and leading the trip, then the small amount of follow up.

I love leading trips.....why? I get no dust! I get to pick the route! I get to decide on where we will camp. I decide when we leave and get home! I can make it just for 4 other trucks and whether it is an easy day drive like new members trips or a hard one involving technical driving. I hope you get the point, it is actually really cool and helps out not only the club, but more so other members, particularly new members.

LROCV is one of , if not the biggest 4WD club in Victoria and we run a bucket load of trips, but have demand to run more. It would be great if you can join us if you want to be able to lead trips, or are just curious. Please take a couple of hours and join us.
