*General Description:**	In the 1880’s Thomas and Mary Guthrie from Rich Avon in Victoria bought a property Avon Downs in the Northern Territory. The trip will follow as close as possible the route they, along with 11,000 sheep, took as documented in a book by their great-grandson - Tom Guthrie called the Longest Drive. Returning via the route to Birdsville and down the track to Marree where they were loaded on the train for the Adelaide markets. Then home via the Flinders Ranges. The dates are tentative at present. More detail provided to registrants, following further discussions over the coming months.

Additional Equipment required:	Tucker for 2-3 days bush camping. Electric chainsaw for wood collection. (Must be accredited to use)

Accommodation:	Off road style vans, highway vans not suitable for this trip. As we will travel on a lot of dirt roads. Must be able to survive off grid.
