General Description*: Join us for a flexible base camp weekend in the Cathedral Ranges region! Whether you want to hit the mountain bike trails, tackle local 4WD tracks, explore the surrounding area, or just kick back around camp, this weekend is designed to be completely flexible—arrive and leave whenever suits you (up to 2 nights max).

This property is in the same area as used for our recent new members trips. The property features a stream, a lake, hot showers, and flushing toilets!

(Note: We do not have exclusive use of the property, so please be mindful of other guests.)

If you wanted to do mountain biking this is the proposed agenda:

Friday Night: Arrive at your leisure, pitch camp, and relax under the stars.

Saturday Morning: Loosely organized MTB trip heading out to Eildon MTB Park.

Saturday Afternoon: Free time back at base camp! Enjoy the lake, stream, and campsite atmosphere.

Saturday Night: Group dinner at the Black Spur Inn (approx. 10 minutes from camp).

Sunday Morning: Loosely organized MTB trip to the Buxton MTB Park.

Sunday Afternoon: Pack up at your convenience and head home.


Not Riding a Bike?

No worries at all! There is plenty of local 4WDing nearby, scenic drives, and local attractions to explore around Buxton, Marysville, and the Cathedral Ranges area.

Non-riders are completely welcome and encouraged to come along and use the spot as a relaxed base camp. If we get enough interest I'm sure we can organize a 4wd day trip in the area.

The camp site charges $24 per individual per night or $54 for a family. No pets.
